Puerto de Mogán

Puerto Mogan is situated on the southwest coast of Gran Canaria, approximately 40 minutes drive from the airport, there is a very good airport transfer service, bus services and car hire facilities. The temperature rarely goes below 70°F even in the winter.

The golden beach is very safe for swimming and has very good bars and restaurants overlooking it.

Numerous bars and restaurants border the picturesque harbour with its yachts and brightly painted fishing boats. The pedestrian area around the harbour has rooftop gardens and arches covered with bougainvillea and flowering vines.

During the day there are ferries to the resort of Puerto Rico and to Arguineguin, another fishing port further along the coast.

There are no discos in Puerto Mogan, but in the evenings some of the bars and restaurants have singers and acoustic guitarists playing a variety of music until about 11 pm.

The apartment

The apartment, which sleeps four is attractively furnished and has ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the lounge, which also has a CD player and satellite TV/DVD with BBC, ITV and Sky.

The spacious lounge/diner has patio doors opening onto a private sun terrace with awning, furnished with a table and chairs- perfect for breakfast in the morning sunshine or watching the world go by while relaxing over drinks or the evening meal.

The kitchen area is fully equipped with fridge-freezer, washing machine, hob and oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board, and a cool-box for poolside use. Intercom phone to entrance doors.

The two double bedrooms and bathroom are at the rear of the apartment and look out to a covered inner patio. Both bedrooms have twin beds, wardrobe and dressing table. Bedroom 1 has a door onto the inner patio. The large bathroom has a wash hand basin, toilet, bidet and shower over the bath.

There are golf courses not far away at Tauro, and at Salobre near Arguineguin.
The scenery inland is spectacular.
Cleaning services are provided, bed linen and towels are changed regularly.
